WWE Hall of Famer ready to come out of retirement to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania

WWE Hall of Famer Sting is ready to come out retirement to have a match with another legend, The Undertaker. Sting, who is regarded as one of the greatest in-ring competitors in the company's history, resisted a move to WWE for long and a dream match between two veterans never happened. Hefinally signed with the company in 2014 and competed against Triple H and Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 31 and Night of Champions in 2015, respectively.

Sting suffered an injury during his match Seth Rollins and retired soon. He hasn't been in the ring since then but has offered to make a comeback if WWE organises a 'dream match' between him and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

"If there was a 'Taker situation at WrestleMania, I would listen to that phone call. I could get in condition and I could pull it off," he told Sports Illustrated.

While the two superstars never squared off in WWE, they did have a match in WCW. Before joining WWE, The Undertaker competed against Sting as Mark Callous and lost. The match wasn't a televised affair.

The Undertaker's future

The Undertaker is yet to retire from in-ring competition but he missed Wrestlemania 35. He has competed in two matches in 2019 - The Undertaker faced Goldberg at Crown Jewel and teamed up with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2019 - but there are no plans forhim for Wrestlemania 36.

Both Sting and The Undertaker are past their prime now and learning lesions from Crown Jewel's main event, WWE might not organise a match between the two legends.

The Deadman continues to be with WWE and recently travelled to Saudi Arabia with Vince McMahon ahead of Crown Jewel. Although, he did not participate in the event. The Undertaker is expected to compete in his retirement match soon.
